Consumers Confidence
Increases
The confidence of consumers
improved in the last three
months, according to the index
made by the Opinion Research
Center at the School of
Statistics of the Universidad de
Costa Rica (UCR) -
University of Costa Rica.
Even though, at 44 percent, the
confidence of Costa Rican
consumers is on the negative
side, it shows a 10 percent
improvement from the outcome
last November.
According to Johnny Madrigal, of
the Opinion Research Center, the
improvement obeys basically to a
positive outlook for the coming
months among the respondents to
a poll taken in February.
