Doubt on Status of Costa Rica Embassy in Jerusalem
Oscar Aurias, the "unofficial" victor in the presidential elections, has previously stated he would move his country's embassy out of Jerusalem, leaving El Salvador as the only country with its main diplomatic offices in the capital.

However, his will, when official, will be with a plurality of less than 41% of the popular vote, and pressure from Christian elements may force him to back down, according to Cost Rica legislator Aida Faingezich, the only Jewish member of the parliament.
