WORLD CUP SOCCER
Costa Rica and Poland to Play for Pride
Their bags are packed and tickets booked, but Poland and Costa Rica have one more match to play on today (Tuesday) before heading home from the World Cup.

After dropping their first two Group `A' games against Ecuador and Germany, Poland and Costa Rica have been knocked out of the tournament.

But the two teams see their final match as a last shot to prove they belonged at soccer's grandest event. Each will be playing not to be last in their group

"We have the capacity to do better than what we have done so far," Costa Rican captain Mauricio Solis said.

Star Paulo Wanchope said the match against Poland `"offers us the chance of at least leaving with three points.''
