WORLD CUP SOCCER:
Germany Finalizes Friendlies
FIFA World Cup hosts Germany
will play Costa Rica on June 9th
in their final warm-up fixture
before the first match of the
tournament . Germany will warm
up a week earlier against
Colombia.
The scheduling of the fixture by
the German Football Association
finalises Germany's pre-finals
friendlies. The other matches
lined up include meetings
against Italy in Florence on 1
March, USA in Dortmund on 22
March and Japan in Leverkusen on
30 May.
Jurgen Klinsmann's side are in
Group A and aside from their
opener against the Costa Ricans
in Munich on 9 June, they will
play Poland in Dortmund on 14
June, and Ecuador on 20 June in
Berlin.
