Television Blamed For Reducing Sexual Apetite
If you are one the many who have a television set in your bedroom, you probably already know that your sex life has dramatically - decreased. A study by 500 Italian couples shows that those who have a television set in their bedroom have sex 50% less often than those without. The study reveals that couples with no television sets have sex an average of 8 times a month, while couples with television only 4 times. What brand of television further reduces sex in the bedroom? That question was not asked, though some television programs reduce sexual apetite more than others.

113 To Continue Free
The telephone information service, 113, will continue to be FREE for 2006, though the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE) will publish a white pages telephone book this year, though no date for publication has been announced. The yellow pages will be out in 2007. RACSA, an ICE company has been given the contract to publish the directories after ICE's fall out with Verizon last year. Verizon had been publishing the directories for many years until differences on the publication standards saw ICE rescind the contract.

Nicaraguan Mauled by Rottweilers Could Have Been Avoided, OIJ Report Says
A report by the Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) says that police officers of the Fuerza Pública could have avoided the death of the Nicaraguan mauled by two Rottweilers. The report is based on review of the video by television cameras on the scene. The report also says that the man died of an accident, from a medical-legal point of view.

Prisoners To Vote For President
More than 5.000 prisoners in the country's 14 correctional institutions will be able to vote on election day. The La Reforma prison in Alajuela has the largest number of registered voters with over 1.000 prisons casting their ballot for those responsible to create and uphold the laws that put them behind bars. This will be third election where prisoners have had the right to vote.
