Top 10 New Year's Resolutions
For many, the first days of the
New Year has always been a time
for looking back to the past,
and more importantly, forward to
the coming year. It's a time to
reflect on the changes we want
(or need) to make and resolve to
follow through on those changes.
SACSA Drivers Don Hoods To
Protest
The turmoil over the Cartag-San
José bus route continues. The
Ministerio de Obras Públicas y
Trasportes (MOPT) announced last
month that the route would be
awarded to a new company,
replacing SACSA after the
company has far too many
complaints of service and
several traffic accidents that
were related to poor fleet
maintenance.
MOPT Announced Grace Period
For Not Having Marchamo Paid
For the past couple of days we
have been telling those that
don't have their 2006 Marchamo
paid they are exposing
themselves to confiscation of
license plates and fines.
However, that is no more. For
the rest of January, that is.

Feel It?
An earthquake registering 5.9 on
the Richter scale was felt last
night at around 9:40pm. The
shake was felt throught Costa
Rica, originating in Panama,
from a collission of the Coco
and Nazca plates.
