Solís of the Partido Acción
Cuidadana (PAC), who many
believe he is acting like a
cry-baby for not taking the loss
gracefully.
Porteadores Warn Of Collapsing
San José in Protest Tomorrow
Thousands of "porteadores" -
illegal taxi drivers - are
expected to march upon San José
tomorrow (Tuesday) to protest
changes to Article 323 of the
Código de Comercio that would
eliminate their ability to offer
their services to the public.
New Zoo
To Open in Guanacaste
A new zoo will soon open its
doors in Liberia, Guanacaste,
that will include many species
of animals never seen in Costa
Rica, like Giraffes and
Hippopotamuses. The new zoo is
being built with private capital
but will be totally national.
Only 31%
of Vehicles With License Ending
in 2 Have Been Inspected For
February
The month of February is almost
over and according to the
records of the annual vehicular
inspection firm, Riteve SyC,
only 31% of vehicles with plates
ending in 2 have been inspected.
That number represents 18.000
vehicles inspected and 40.000
remaining to be inspected.
