Chills And Strong Winds to Continue
According to Martha Periera of the Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN) - the weatherman - the cold winds of the morning and chilly nights will be around the Central Valley until the end of the month. So, better no put that jacket or sweater back in the closet just yet.

For the past couple of weeks, the morning winds have been strong and cold. Though the day temperatures have been just off the normal of 28 Celsius (82 Fahrenheit), the night has been "cold", temperatures dropping to from 15-17 Celsius.

In some areas the temperature dropped to 14 Celsius. That is cold!

The meteorological expert said that December and February as traditional windy months. This year the number of cold fronts from the North have increased the wind speed and chill in the air.

It is expected that by March, the winds will die down and day and night temperatures return to normal.
