Queen Mary Cannot Dock At Caldera Tomorrow

Queen Mary Cannot Dock At Caldera Tomorrow
For the second time, the world's largest dingy, the Queen Mary II, cannot port in Costa Rica.

The QMII was expected to dock at the port of Caldera tomorrow. The dock at Caldera cannot handle the enormous size of the ship and will stay offshore one mile. The ship is expected to be at Caldera at 6am.

QMII passengers will be taken ashore in small boats, who will be experience the traditional Costa Rican flavour with typical foods, dance and traditions. The town of Puntarenas, a short distance from Caldera, is in full swing of the Puntarenas annual festival, adding an additional attraction.

The luxurious ship tried to dock in Moín (Limón) on January 12, but was not able to dock, again due to the large size of the ship and capacity of the dock.

This is the only appearance of the Queen Mary II in Central America.
