New Costa Rica Destination Showcases at Miami Boat Show
In just three months, Costa Rica's Bahia Escondida reports more than us$22 million in sales, mostly to South Florida buyers.

Home to mega yacht pleasure cruisers and fishing enthusiasts, Bahia Escondida announced today that its residential phase one is 90% sold out and remaining residential and marina slip opportunities will be showcased at the Miami International Boat Show February 16-20 at booth #2510.

Bahia Escondida is a premier bayside village and marina located just off the southeastern side of Costa Rica's Golfo Dulce with the soon to be bragging rights of having the best equipped, largest and most complete state of the art marina on the country's Pacific coast.

"The location, capacity and amenities of our marina opens up a whole new destination that, until now, was not available to mega yachts," said Phil Perko, president of Digital Capital International Sales Group, Bahia Escondida's exclusive sales agent. "Since the majority of our buyers are from South Florida, we anticipate heavy interest at the Miami International Boat Show and expect to sell out of Phase One."

Once the home to the Chiquita banana empire, experts call Costa Rica's Golfito the best kept secret in Central America. Reminiscent of Mexico's Puerto Vallarta, Bahia Escondida's developers plan to integrate Golfito's old town culture, hospitality and authenticity into an amenity-filled village rich in natural beauty.

"We are revitalizing a port town with incredible natural assets and turning it into a world-class playground for adventure - whether it be fishing, surfing or relaxing," said Florida native and Bahia Escondida Developer Jim Lynskey who has been buying, selling and developing land in Costa Rica for more than 15 years. "What sets us apart from the mega- commercialized resort developments? We offer our buyers casual luxury mixed with local culture; something different."
