“Christopher Howard’s
Relocation/Retirement Tour to Be
on the NBC Today Show”
Because of Costa Rica’s growing
popularity as a retirement
destination for Baby Boomers,
the NBC Today Show will be
sending a report a camera crew
to Costa Rica this month.
They will be filming from
February 22nd through the 24th.
First they will interview an
American couple that moved here
and started a business in
Tamarindo. On Friday the 23rd
they will shoot the Association
of resident’s of Costa Rica’s
monthly seminar. Then on
Saturday they will spend the
entire day filming Christopher
Howard’s Relocation/retirement
Tour.
The show should be aired on
March 15th.
Lately Mr. Howard has received a
great deal of attention from the
U.S. press. In May information
about his tours was mentioned in
News Week. Then in October Sara
Davidson, a writer from Ophra’s
Magazine, took Chris’ beach tour
and gathered material for a
chapter in her new book about
Baby Boomers retiring here.
Finally, in December Peronet
Despeignes, a writer for Fortune
Magazine, interviewed Mr. Howard
for several hours.
Mr. Howard also met last month
with Dr. Oscar Arias Sánchez the
apparent winner of this year’s
presidential election. They
talked for 45 minutes about
retirees in Costa Rica.
