30 Metre Drop Lands Mand in Hospital
Twenty five year old Manual Vega Porras has to be counting his lucky stars, walking away with only cuts and bruises after his car went off a bridge of 30 metres (100 feet) and landed, wheels side up, in the river below.

The accident occurred in Atenas de Alajuela at the Cacao river bridge near the Fátima.

Vega was driving a black Honda when, for reason that are still unclear, he lost control of the vehicle and landed in the river.

Transit police and members of the Fuerza Pública began an investigation of the accident, while Porras is recovering in hospital.
