Cuban Cycling Team to Costa Rica
Competition
A Cuban cycling squad will take
part in a competition scheduled
to take place in Costa Rica next
December 18 to 29.
The group, which includes nine
members, is headed by four-time
Cuban cycling champion Pedro
Pablo Perez.
The competition will also
include collectives from
Colombia, Chile, Ecuador and the
host country, according to the
Costa Rican Cycling Federation.
Besides Pedro Pablo Perez, the
Cuban team includes: Arnold
Alcolea, Reldys Perez, Yeiner
Lopez, Lizardo Benitez, Adonis
Cardoso, Raul Granjel, Surley
Leon and Ernesto Cano.
Roberto Santaya coaches the
Cubans with help from mechanic
Juan Fernandez, masseur Nemesio
Lusson, and sports official
