200.000 Without Water Tomorrow
Residents of the Santa Ana,
Alajuelita, Despamarados and San
Antonio de Escazu will be
without water tomorrow between
7am and 8pm. Some 200.000 people
live in the affected area and
will have to do without the
vital fluid.
The Instituto Costarricense de
Acueductos y Alcantarillados (AyA)
says it needs to shut flow of
water to make urgent matinenance
work to a transformer of the
puming system at Punta de Mulas.
The Aya issued a list of
specific communities that will
not have water: En Santa Ana,
Santa Ana centro, calle
Gavilanes, Concepción, Chispa,
Casablanca, Obando, Calle Pilas
y Pozos, en Escazú: Escazú
centro, San Rafael, Bello
Horizonte, Anonos, Tena, Betina,
Quesada, Vista Alegre, Maynard,
Faroles, Tabas, Mirador, Alto de
las Palomas, Miravalles,
Matapalo, Guachipelín, Laureles,
Multiplaza, Price Smart, Trejos
Montealegre. En San Antonio:
Lotes Badilla, La Avellana,
Corazón de Jesús, Alto Carrizal,
Barrio El Carmen, Bebedero, en
Alajuelita: Alajuelita centro,
San Josecito, San Felipe,
Tejarcillos, La Aurora,
Concepción Abajo y Concepción
Arriba y en Desamparados en San
Rafael Abajo, Vizcaya, Valencia,
Treviso y Autofores.
