Venezuela Hunts Down Serial
Killers
Venezuelan Minister for Interior
and Justice Jesse Chacon
announced the arrest of three of
the five people involved in the
quadruple murder that rocked the
country.
The cruelest of the recent
bloody crimes in Venezuela was
this kidnapping February 23 of
12, 13 and 17 year old siblings
and their driver. Their bodies
found on Apr 4.
The crime wave includes an
Ultimas Noticias reporter who
died from gunshot wounds and
last week"s discovery of the
body of an Italian businessman
abducted in Aragua.
President Hugo Chavez assured
the investigations are underway
and condemned private media
manipulation to discredit the
government.
Minister Chacon also urged law
enforcement and the Judicial
Power to work swiftly to show
that there will not be impunity
for such crimes in Venezuela.
