Pakistani man arrested in Venezuela
The Venezuelan police arrested a Pakistani man who allegedly extorted money from the Canadian embassy in exchange for information on terror attacks against Canada, local media said Thursday.

Hussein Rene Assar, 38, was arrested on Tuesday in the city of Puerto La Cruz, about 240 km east of the capital of Caracas. He asked for around 7,000 US dollars to sell information about "terrorist acts" and "explosives" to the embassy, said an officialof the Canadian embassy to Venezuela.
