Another Murder in the Centro Comercial El Puelbo
Once again the Centro Comercial el Pueblo, located in Calle Blancos, north of San José, becomes the scene of yet another bloody murder. This time, the victim if a 20 year old Colombian man identified as Pedro Abelardo López Seas.

The murder occurred at 5:30am Sunday morning following a discussion between the victim and several foreigners, that ended with a shoot out and the killing of Seas.

The Fuerza Pública (police) quickly were at the scene and by 6am had captured three Colombian and a Panamanian suspected to have taken part in the shootout. The men were detained by police in downtown San José.

During the last couple of years, El Pueblo has become known for violent arguments that have resulted in several deaths. Once a popular night spot for tourists has quickly converted itself into a hang out for drug dealers and all sorts of anti-socials.

The Fuerza Pública maintains a close vigilance of the centre and it was the reason for the quick response and action in capturing the suspects in Sunday mornings incident.

The three men are now in the custody of the Juzgado Penal de San José who will determine their fate.
