Improved Controls on Water
The water that Costa Ricans use is subject now of better controls to ensure its quality, according to the most recent survey by the National Water Laboratory.

In the last 13 years, the quality control increased from 50 percent to 97.5 percent of the country.

However, authorities admit that there is still a lot of work to do and areas for improvement, therefore continued actions are a priority.
