Investment in Euros Now Available in Costa Rica
Costa Ricans can now invest in one of the strongest currency in the world, the Euro.

The Banco Nacional has announced investment in Euro Certificates that offer attractive return on investments.

One Euro is currently trading at 615 colones while one US dollar is at 466 colones.

The Banco Nacional began offering investments in Euro on March 1 and requires a minimum investment of 500 Euros or 307.000 colones at the current exchange rate.


For now, only customers of the Banco Nacional can buy the Certificates.
