Colombian air force destroys suspected US-registered drug plane
The Colombian Air Force destroyed a US-registered plane which was suspected of drug-trafficking and terrorism, military sources said Monday.

The twin-engine King 200 with US registration was forced to land by the air force's military aircraft after having been detected illegally flying over Cesar province, northwest part of Colombia.

The airplane was reportedly "embarking on illicit activities related to drug-trafficking and terrorism".

The sources did not say how many people were on board and in what condition they are now.
