Buys 50% Stake in Costa Rica

BRUSSELS, Feb 4 (Reuters) -
ArcelorMittal, the world's
largest steelmaker, said on
Monday it had bought the 50
percent stake it did not already
own in Costa Rica long carbon
steel producers Laminadora
Costarricense and Trefileria
Colima.
"Both entities employ around 400
people, and mainly serve the
construction market in Central
America and the Caribbean," the
group said in a statement.
