Mattero Quintavalle, the
Italian businessman accused of fraud by
his American investors, has been ordered
by the Juzgado Penal de Pavas to pay up
¢150 million colones (us$303.000) by not
later than April 2 or be back behind
bars.
The order was signed by judge Éricka
Chaves this past Tuesday, rejecting
Quintavalle's request to eliminate or or
lower his bail.
