Costa Rican president, Oscar Arias, said he received an "official communication" from the government of Colombia which denies any links between the Colombian rebel group - the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) - and Costa Rican politicians.

Colombian Government To Investigate Tico Couple
The Fiscalía General de Colombia said it would investigate fully the connection of Cruz Prado Rojas and Francisco Gutiérrez Pérez for "alleged terrorism" following the find of us$480.000 dollars belonging to the Colombian rebel group, the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC), in their home in Santa Barbara de Heredia.

Conavi Begins Painting Of Lines on Highways
Beginning this week the Consejo Nacional de Vialidad (Conavi) - national road council - will begin painting some 550 kilometres of four national highways. In addition to the line painting, Conavi workers will also install "cat eyes" reflector on the pavement.

82 Primary Grade School Girls Pregnant
