Computer Malfunction Collapsed Liberia Airport For 90 Minutes
The longest ninety minutes was the sentiment of many tourists, who ending their Costa Rican vacation, had to wait as the computer system at the Daniel Oduber internatioanl airport in Liberia, Guanacaste, broke down. The computer malfunction was in the immigration service computers that affected both outgoing and incoming travellers.
 

The ESSO gasoline station directly across from the Parque La Sabana at the Paseo Colón entrance is one of the 20 gasoline stations closed by the MINAE (see story) for non-compliance, as the government gets tough on gasoline station owners following the fatal explosion and fire that killed two children at the Shell station in Escazú last October.
