Six Major High Rise Condos Planned For Downtown San José
Following years of decline and the efforts of municipal officials during the last five, downtown San José could soon see people moving back in to live there, as the first high rise condominium projects near reality.


The San José skyline (inset) could soon be radically different under San José mayor Johnny Araya's plan to bring more residential development to the downtown areas. Six residential high rise condos have already been approved, the first already under construction.

Costa Rica  To Seek Compensation From US On Online Gambling Policy
Costa Rica will join World Trade Organization (WTO) members: European Union (EU), Antigua & Barbuda, India and Japan in seeking compensation from the United States, according to reports on Point-Spreads, relating to Washington's removal of online gambling and online poker from its trade obligations, after the WTO repeatedly ruled that Washington's ban on remote Internet gambling violates WTO trade agreements that the United States signed.
