Couple Die Trying to Save Sons
A Costa Rican couple lost their lives in an attempt to save their sons. The  tragedy occurred in an area known as Catarata de Rio Savegre, when the couple drowned in an attempt to save the lives of their two boys aged 11 and 14, who had called out for help. The manager of a hotel in the area, a German national, also lost his life in the attempt to help the couple.


Costa Rica is the scene of another  "celebrity" wedding. Earlier this month, singer Pink married motocross racer, Corey Hart. Now, telenovela (soap opera star Carolina Tejera, known for her roles in "Gata Salvaje" and "Inocente de Ti," is planning her Costa Rican wedding.
 

ICE Puts the Brakes On Vital Thermal Project
The project known as Térmico Garabito, one of the most ambitious projects by the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE) has come to halt following a lack of a decision by the Constitutional Court.
