Missing Couple Found in Plane
Crash Against the Volcan Irazú
The bodies of a U.S. couple
whose small plane had been
missing for three days were
found Tuesday near the Volcan
Irazú, the area where the
airplane disappeared, along with
the plane's wreckage.

Search crews yesterday foundthe
single-engine airplane which
crashed against the Irazú
volcano, 60 miles (97 km)
southeast of San José. The
single engine Beechcraft piloted
by a man and his wife, both from
Des Moines, Iowa, disappeared on
Sunday from San José radar
screens while flying in the
vicinity of Irazú Volcano.

Subdirector Says
The Policiá de Tránsito (Traffic
Police) say that corruption is
down, this is evidenced by the
number of complaints registered

investigated only 566 cases,

According to the Tribunal
Supremo de Elecciones (TSE), the
body that oversees the national
registry as well as the
presidential elections, says
that some people don't worry
about not carrying their
identification known as the "cedula",
as there more than 56.000
cedulas waiting to be picked up.
Nicaragua Bans Freshwater
Shark Fishing
Nicaragua banned freshwater
fishing of bull sharks and
sawfish on Tuesday because of
alarming population declines,
and said it wants neighboring
