After three years of delays and
squabbles, construction
began on the unfinished
passenger terminal at the Juan
Santamaria International (San
José) airport. Reconstruction
began after a government order
that work continue following a
three year dispute with the
administration company Altera
Partners. This year more than
1.5 million tourists are
expected to use the airport.
