Taxi Drivers To Start Using
Uniforms Next Week or Be Fined
Beginning next Monday, November
7, taxi drivers will have to
wear uniforms to comply with
changes to the industry.

Carlos Sánchez, the driver of
the armoured truck that was the
object of a theft, was quickly
converted from victim to
suspect, charged with aggravated
robbery by the Ministerio
Público.
Household Income Dropped 6%
Actual income in Costa Rican
households dropped by 6 percent
between the years 2003 and 2004.
The decrease affected both high-
and low-income families alike,
because in the period analyzed
all salary categories did not
grow at the same rate that the
cost of living went up.
