The Transit Police are doing their job,
to keep order on the order and fine those who commit infractions, including
fining those who provide illegal public transport services. The pirate taxis
or "piratas" keep on providing their services. The differences between the
two have been around for a long time.

vice-president, Luis Fishman Zonzinsky, has decided to break the silence he
has maintained during this time and will be making regular comments on
national issues, make recommendations and make his opinions known. This he

Volcanoes
Costa Rica sits right atop the "Pacific Ring
Fire Circle."
As you would expect, the country is home to more than one hundred volcanoes,
all but five of them, fortunately, inactive. Most of the volcanoes are
located in the Central Highlands where, people whizzing by in their
automobiles, mistake them for hills.
There are three volcanic mountain range systems in Costa Rica:
Guanacaste Range System
Central Valley Range System
Talamanca Range System

VENEZUELA:
The Referendum in Venezuela
The situation in Venezuela is converging upon a point of crisis, again, and
the opposition is threatening violent rebellion if it is proven that they
committed electoral fraud. The object upon which the conflict is focused, in
this go-round, is the count of signatures to see if 20% of the nations
voters signed the petition to authorize a referendum to recall President
Chavez. The new, progressive constitution, voted into law in 1999, provides
for a recall referendum on any elected official after completing half their
term, if it is petitioned by 20% of the eligible voters.
