Festival of
Lights for a Night of Magic
Thousands lined the streets of Paseo Colon and
Avenida Segunda last night to take in the
splendour and festivities of this annual
event. The event started on time at 6pm and
making it's way from the La Sabana to La Plaza

How fake Lipitor was sold
Florida police rapped on Julio Cesar
Cruz's door in the waning darkness
before sunrise July 21. He answered
wearing his underwear.
...Cruz worked directly with at least
four other men, according to
investigators. Two helped to make the
counterfeit tablets in Costa Rica and
divert Lipitor from Brazil for
repackaging in a Costa Rican warehouse.
One got the Lipitor in the United States
and another produced the finishing
touch: sophisticated-looking labels to
package the tablets.

Rice and Beans is OK, but, IS THERE

My December guests, Godfrey from Wales
and Donna from Indiana who are now from
Marcos Island Florida wanted to see if
Costa Rica would be a good place to
escape the incredible inflation and
snobbery of this part of Florida. A 100
by 100 foot lot, not on a water channel,
now costs $200,000 there.
