Cocaine seized at SJO destined for Canada, Ireland, and the Netherlands

August 4th, 2014 (InsideCostaRica.com) Costa Rica’s Drug Control Police (PCD) seized three packages containing a total of one kilogram of cocaine at the Juan Santamaria International Airport over the weekend.

 

According to the Ministry of Public Security (MSP), one package containing 513 grams of cocaine was destined for Ontario, Canada.

 

Another 267 grams of cocaine was destined for Dublin, Ireland, while the remaining 198 grams were destined for the Netherlands.

 

Arrests in the case have yet to be made and an investigation is underway.
