June 17th, 2014 (InsideCostaRica.com) The cost of a liter of regular gasoline will soon increase ¢12 from ¢762 to ¢774, while super gasoline will increase by ¢10 per liter from ¢787 to ¢797. That is an increase of about ¢46 and ¢38 per gallon, respectively.
Diesel fuel, however will see a decrease in price of ¢12, falling from ¢689 per liter to ¢677 per liter.
The price adjustments are expected to take effect during the first week of July, following regulator approval and publication in the official La Gaceta.
The last price increases seen by motorists came last week, on June 15th.
