May 5th, 2014 (InsideCostaRica.com) Banco Nacional (BNCR)’s Internet Banking system has been unavailable since yesterday morning. Users are receiving a “page cannot be found” error after entering their identification number on the online banking section of the site.
Inside Costa Rica has confirmed that the bank is aware of the situation after receiving numerous complaints from readers.
Banco Nacional would not provide an estimate as to when its online banking facilities would once again be available. In the meantime, the bank recommends customers visit one of its 172 offices to conduct transactions.
The bank gave no indication as to the cause of the outage.
