December 9th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) A 9-year-old girl who had been missing since her American father picked her up for a visit on Friday, November 29th, was located on Thursday, December 5th along with her father in Playa Hermosa, Guanacaste, a day after Inside Costa Rica reported the story.

The Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ) in Heredia had issued an alert and was attempting to locate the girl, Katie Brooken Lukensmeyer Solano and her father, after the girl’s mother, a Costa Rican, alerted authorities and filed a kidnapping charge against the girl’s American father, her former partner, when the father failed to return the girl to her home.

The girl’s mother reported that she is in good health.  “The girl is with me, that is the important thing.  Legal action against her father is another matter,” Sandra Solano said.

It was believed earlier that the father could have fled the country with the girl.

The mother, who has custody of the child, and daughter are residents of Santo Domingo de Heredia.

Editor’s Note – Dec 9th 10:15am – Inside Costa Rica has been contacted by the girl’s father, who told ICR that he had legal permission to have the girl at the time.  The father also said that the girl’s mother was aware the pair was at the beach, and that the OIJ had a phone number to contact him.

ICR has published a follow up story.

Still would like to hear the side of the father. Something seems off in this whole ordeal.

Where is the the lead story this a.m. clearing this man???? ALL I’m seeing is the paragraph at the end after his name was drug through the mud by some bitter (possibly $$$ hungry) female!!

We have seen this b.s. OVER & OVER & OVER – angry, wounded hurt “little girls” pretending to be women, with MAJOR UNresolved daddy issues of their own, angry at men, blaming them, making up LIES about the other parent – using their children as a pawn!!

As far as I’M concerned – when anyone does that – THAT IS ABUSIVE & they should NOT have rights to that child because of the psychological damage they’re doing to that child!!

If a child is to have HEALTHY relationships in the future – ESPECIALLY a girl – they MUST have some sort of HEALTHY relationship with the father!! & ANYONE that tries to block that is inflicting LOTS of future pain on said child – not real loving to me!!

The old squeeze play and wanting more for the mother in money. Shame on the mother using the courts this way. Waiting to hear the whole story.

Some say the national sport is futbol. Other say it’s sex(usually with someone elses spouse or perhaps a family member). I say the #1 position goes to lying with stealing a very, very close second.

There is good news though !

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death
