September 13th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) La Voz de Guanacaste reported yesterday that the decomposing body found near the mouth of the Nosara River on Wednesday was that of a 52-year-old man from Ostional, identified as Jehu Molia Parra.
The man had been missing for four days, according to La Voz. The man is believed to have fallen from the riverbank while walking, according to the report.
A group of tourists who were swimming near the mouth of the Nosara River in Guanacaste found the man’s decomposing body in the water Wednesday around 3 p.m.
Tourist police officers and the Red Cross responded to the scene and removed the body from the water, which had some visible injuries that the first responders believed might have been caused by the corpse hitting rocks as it traveled down the river.
