March 20th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) The Public Ministry has announced the list of those indicted in the case of 215 handguns that were stolen from a Traffic Police warehouse on January 30th, 2012.

One of those indicted, identified by the last name Lezama, is charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated imprisonment, and conspiracy.

The indictment also lists another individual by the last name of Delgado, who is currently still on trial for receiving stolen goods.

Prosecutors said that the indictment would be served to the Attorney General’s Office in order to determine whether the Attorney General is interested in bringing forth charges against the suspects.

Authorities made the announcement yesterday, after authorities in Panama delivered 22 of the stolen weapons which were recovered in that country.

The firearms were delivered yesterday to the Directorate of Judicial Investigation (DIJ) in Paso Canoas, on the border between Costa Rica and Panama, after which they were delivered to San Jose.
