March 14th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Strong winds as high as 80km/hour will return to Costa Rica today, according to the National Meteorological Institute (IMN).  The strong winds are the result of a high-pressure system in the Caribbean Sea.

The strongest winds are expected in the Central Valley and the Northern Pacific.  Increasing rainfall is also expected in the Caribbean basin and the Northern Zone.

Isolated showers are expected throughout the country.
