March 7th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) The National Meteorological Institute (IMN) said that an increase in air pressure in the Caribbean will once again bring strong wind gusts to Costa Rica today.
Expect wind gusts between 50kph and 70kph in the Central Valley, Guanacaste, and other parts of the country today.
The winds will also be mixed with showers of varying intensity in most parts of the country.
The conditions will persist at least until the weekend.
The IMN is warning of the risk of falling trees, branches, and power lines, and is asking residents to be aware of river and stream levels.
