
March 4th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Although spectators watching the opening ceremonies of the Central American Games at the National Stadium may have not noticed, a pair of earthquakes shook Costa Rica yesterday.
The first, which registered 3.7 on the Richter scale, struck at 8:36pm.
The second, a 4.1 magnitude quake, struck at 8:59pm.
The epicenter of both quakes was in Puntarenas, 31km southwest of Estero Garita in Aguirre.
No damage or injuries have been reported.
