Sansa Regional offering discount flights within Costa Rica

February 21^st, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) Sansa Regional has begun offering some of their cheapest fares ever for flights within Costa Rica, beginning at just $40 plus tax.

The goal is to promote tourism in destinations like Drake Bay, Golfito, Liberia, Puerto Jimenez, Palmar Sur, Tambor, Tamarindo, Quepos and La Fortuna.

Rates vary according to the destination.  During high season, from now until April 30^th, prices range from $50 to $85 each way, plus taxes.  During the low season from May 1^st to November 30^th, rates range from $40 to $75 (plus tax) each way, slightly less than half the usual fares.

The fares, however, are only for Costa Ricans and permanent residents, and passengers must carry their valid cedula with them.

The rates are only available in person at Sansa in La Uruca or their airport counters, or over the phone by calling 2290-4100.
