January 28th, 2013 (InsideCostaRica.com) The Drug Control Police (PCD) of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) dismantled this weekend a family-ran organization that allegedly sold drugs in Playas del Coco, Guanacaste.
According to the investigation, the family operated 700 meters from the school in Playas del Coco, and already had eight criminal complaints lodged against them.
Detained were Vásquez Arguello and Vásquez Vásquez (who both already had drug charges), and two women, both identified by the surnames Pizarro Pizarro.
In the raids, involving two homes, agents seized 226 dose of crack, five doses of cocaine, 14 doses of compressed marijuana, 32,000 colones and two dollars, apparently proceeds from the sale.
