Editor,
I choose Romney. I am a life long student of history. US and World history. The United States I grew up in during the 50′s and 60′s and finished college early 70′s; is no longer visible. A functioning government, financial opportunities and positive attitudes of US citizens does not exist any longer. Trust is gone. Morality is fading fast. Civility is no longer present.
Reasons for choosing Romney. He was a successful Governor (read his BIO)- he worked with both parties on difficult legislative issues facing Massachusetts to make great strides in positive effects for that state. He was a successful businessman-many times over (Read his BIO)- despite the skewed political propaganda Obama operatives are generating. He is a successful family man (read his BIO). He was a successful student of business and law (read his BIO). He has been successful in showing leadership in his first presidential debate (Read online). The US is in dire need of a businessman with sound financial plans to restore our economic prowess in the world. The US needs a morally sound man leading a morally corrupt country! The US needs a man who places value on the family unit, places value on leading from the front of every issue, and a man who places value in truth. I believe, from all my reading and research, that Mitt Romney can provide the leadership in restoring greatness to a country that is failing. Remembering history- one of the main reasons the Roman Empire fell was due to the lack of morality and civility. Take a look at Europe-take a look at the USA; we are all on the same tract. Trust, leadership, moral-principle compass, civility-character of convictions and an exceptional knowledge of business and finance. Romney is the ONLY choice.
I just returned from two weeks in Costa Rica. I have family on the Central Pacific coast and many good friends in CR. I love Costa Rica; the beauty of your country and the people. I know all too well that if we have a President Romney that the future for the US and Costa Rica will be much brighter. CR and the USA have been “hand in hand” partners for many years and when the US is thriving then so does CR.
