SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA – August 24th, 2012 – Ownership of computers and internet access in Costa Rica has grown in recent years according to the National Housing Census 2011 by the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INEC).
According to the study, individual dwellings with a computer in the home went from 14.6% in the year 2000 to 45.9% in 2011.
33.5% of households have internet access in the home, while 87.2% of homes have cellular telephones.
